Introduction
Hello I’m Asya, a professional portrait photographer!
Originally from Russia, I came to the UK in 2001 to work in the IT side of the Hospitality industry. I started taking portraits of my colleagues back in 2007 while I was an employee of Ideas International. I was “the official photographer” of our office taking pictures of all the new employees. When I moved jobs, I continued with the “office photographer” role, and my colleagues at JDA software used to say that my photos were much better than the one taken by professional photographers the previous years.
I have founded ABLPhotography in 2007, and started doing photography part time, pretty much dedicating all my spare time to it.
Experience as a business photographer
In 2013 I took the plunge of becoming a full-time portrait photographer. Since then, I helped hundreds of people to get images that represent who they are, ensuring professional on-line presence. I worked with numerous small and medium sized businesses, entrepreneurs, actors, authors, dancers and models. Check out my gallery here.
I love photographing people because I find it fascinating when I capture someones personality and inner beauty in an image.
Most people really hate having photos taken of themselves. If you are one of them, don’t panic! I pride myself on my my ability to make people relax and feel very comfortable during my photo shoots. I will guide you through and tell you what to do throughout the whole shoot. And we’ll most certainly have fun in the process!
Your headshots can be taken in my studio in Twyford or on location, using natural light. My studio is fully mobile and I can take my equipment as far as London and Oxford, to photograph employees of different companies and to take headshots at events.
Personal life
When I am not with my camera, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, taking long walks in the nature, dancing, watching films and studying languages. I also love traveling whenever possible…. My favourite thing is meeting new people! I feel very blessed to have a career that permits me to do what I love every single day.
